City's contractor McLendon Enterprises Inc. has completed construction of the overall project including the new sewer lift station. Final record drawings have been review and are awaiting final changes. McLendon is addressing final punchlist items to request retainage and final acceptance.

City's contractor McLendon Enterprises Inc. has initiated construction on the new sewer lift station within Eastern Wharf. This lift station will service Eastern Wharf development as well as free up sewer capacity on existing sewer infrastructure along the east end of River Street. Construction is scheduled to be completed in October. The City is otherwise wrapping up record drawings with its consultant Engineer or Record on the remainder of the completed project. In addition, the City is finalizing a Land Swap/Access Easement Agreement with Eastern Wharf to finalize property acquisition associated with new City infrastructure.

City has approved a property swap with Mariner Group to acquire sewer lift station property for City owned parcel adjacent to Bilbo Canal. City also approved Sewer lift station construction and overall project summary Change Order with McLendon during Feb. 13th Council meeting. Construction Notice to Proceed has been issued to McLendon. McLendon has issued initial submittals and is coordinating with its subcontractor Heyward Baker to mobilize for initial deep foundation pile installation and other ground improvements.

Contractor McLendon continues to work thru the design and proposal with the City and its consultant Thomas & Hutton. Remainder of the project is complete and functioning well.

Contractor McLendon is pricing the design/build sewage lift station for a change order request. Remainder of the project is complete.

Punchlist work is essentially complete. The final traffic signal was activated for testing. McLendon has constructed part of the new forcemain. Consultant Thomas & Hutton is still designing the new lift station. Due to the scope increase, completion now scheduled for late 2019.

Punchlist work continues. Thomas & Hutton is designing a sanitary sewer lift station and section of forcemain to use in lieu of a gravity sewer line which became unusable due to differential settlement.

Construction of new installations complete. Final traffic shift completed. Change order work to install a new sanitary lift station/forcemain and installation of the last traffic signal is awaiting work by others. Punchlist work is underway. Punch list work scheduled for completion 4Q, 2018. Additional change order work necessary to complete sanitary sewer service for use by development is under design. Preliminary construction schedule for completion of this work is about April 2019.

Construction of new installations complete. Final traffic shift completed. Milling and overlayment paving of street sections nearby and impacted by the construction to be paved in April under a new change order. Completion scheduled by 3rd quarter 2018.

Minor paving, final traffic shift, and ancillary work all that remains to finish this project. Anticipate a second quarter 2018 completion date.

Bilbo Bridge work continues as the final stage of construction continues. Project on schedule for completion early next year.

Traffic shift completed placing traffic temporarily on the north half of the Bilbo Canal bridge as the south half of that bridge is completed. Sidewalks, crosswalks, and preparation for new traffic signals and street lights continue.
